Korelacija alkoholemije i stope saobraćajnih nezgoda sa fatalnim ishodom

Sažetak

Konzumiranje alkohola široko je rasprostranjeno, i alkoholna zavisnost je među prve tri bolesti po učestalosti. Alkohol izaziva poremećaje u ponašanju, percepciji i motorici, koji su povezani sa saobraćajnim traumatizmom. Ovaj pregledni članak treba da opiše pomenute odnose. U Srbiji je smanjen nivo zakonski dozvoljene alkoholemije u krvi na 0,3‰. Alkoholemija od 0,5 do 0,7‰ povećava rizik za učešće u saobraćajnim nezgodama sa smrtnim ishodom 4-10 puta. Najčešći učesnici u saobraćajnim nezgodama sa smrtnim ishodom jesu pešaci i vozači. Glavna odlika takvih nezgoda jeste učešće mladih vozača muškog pola u alkoholisanom stanju, tokom vikenda u kasnim večernjim i ranim jutarnjim satima. Dominantan uzrok smrti jesu kraniocerebralne povrede. Saobraćajni traumatizam je značajan uzrok ljudskih gubitaka, većinom u najproduktivnijem periodu života. Buduća istraživanja će pokazati da li je sniženje dozvoljene alkoholemije u Srbiji dalo rezultate ili je neophodno još strože ophođenje prema alkoholisanim vozačima.
