Sažetak

Psihološka istraživanja pokazuju da drugi ljudi vrlo često opažaju osobe sa invaliditetom na stereotipan način. Sportiste sa invaliditetom drugi najčešće doživljavaju ili kao ''jadne'' ili kao ''superheroje''. Pored izloženosti predrasudama i stereotipnoj socijalnoj percepciji, osobe sa invaliditetom se, češće nego osobe bez invaliditeta, suočavaju sa neefikasnošću na sportskom terenu, pa tako sport može biti dvosekli mač, koji može da unapredi ali i naruši sliku o sebi. Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je da ustanovi kako sportisti sa invaliditetom vide sami sebe, kakva je njihova realna samopercepcija? Pretpostavljeno je da bi značajne razlike mogle da postoje prema starosti ili polu ispitanika. Kao instrument je korišćen Inventar samopercepcije, sastavljen od trideset atributa ličnosti, koji se procenjuju na četvorostepenoj skali. Ispitano je 19 sportista sa invaliditetom, starosti od 14 do 60 godina. Osam ispitanika je mlađe, a 11 starije od 26 godina, 14 muškaraca i 5 žena. Rezultati su pokazali da postoje statistički značajne razlike u samopercepciji kod ispitanika različite starosti ili pola. Samopercepcijom ispitanih sportista sa invaliditetom dominiraju atributi koji ukazuju na pozitivnu samopercepciju i sliku o sebi (npr. samopouzdan, veseo, opušten, ambiciozan, korektan). Iako je u istraživanju učestvovao relativno mali broj ispitanika i nije ispitivana direktna povezanost samopercepcije i bavljenja sportom, može se reći da postoje implikacije koje su u skladu sa opštim trendom psiholoških istraživanja koja potvrđuju pozitivno dejstvo sportskih aktivnosti na poboljšanje self-koncepta osoba sa invaliditetom.
