Abstract
Area of Bosnia and Hercegovina, deeply religiously, culturally and etno-politically divided by historical causes, was for centuries a polygon for competition of interests of great powers. Starting with historical and geopolitical influences and interest projections of great powers on stabilization and destabilization of Balkans (and Bosnia and Hercegovina as its part), this paper observes actual structure of security sector in Bosnia as their result. Critically reviewing 'the experiment of security redesign of Bosnia and Hercegovina', work further analyses some new tendencies in international relations and prognosticates their influence on security system and whole Bosnia and Hercegovina's future.
