Graduated on the Faculty of Agriculture in Belgrade, Agro-Economic Department, in 1981. 

He won a master's degree in 1986 at the Faculty of Agriculture in Belgrade, Agro-Economic Department. 

He defended his doctoral dissertation in 1993 at the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade.

He acquired the academic position RESEARCH ASSOCIATE in 1994, SENIOR RESEARCH ASSOCIATE in 2001, and the academic position PRINCIPAL RESEARCH FELLOW in 2006.

He was elected as HONORARY PROFESSOR in 2014 at the Stavropol State Agrarian University in Stavropol, Russia.

He was elected to FULL PROFESSOR at the Faculty of Hotel Management and Tourism – Vrnjci Spa, University of Kragujevac, Serbia, on 30th April 2015.
