Epidemiološke karakteristike pertussisa u Vojvodini

Sažetak

U periodu pre imnizacije pertussis je u Vojvodini bio jedna od najčešćih respiratornih bolesti, sa prosečno 2 000 obolelih godišnje, pretežno dece. Analizirani su uticaj imunizacije na kretanje pertussisa u Vojvodini i epidemiološke karakteristike pertussisa tokom poslednjih 10 godina perioda vakcinacije. Tokom ovog perioda incidencija pertussisa se kontinuirano smanjivala. U poslednjih 10 godina prosečna vrednost incidencije je 0,2/100 000. Poslednji slučaj pertusisa sa smrtnim ishodom registrovan je 1970. godine. Od 2003. godine bolest se registruje samo kod dece uzrasta do 24 meseca. U poslednjih 10 godina 82% obolele dece nije bilo vakcinisano. Najviše su obolevala nevakcinisana deca uzrasta do 12 meseci (59%) i od 12 do 24 meseca (15%). Povoljna epidemiološka situacija pertussisa u Vojvodini je rezultat visokog obuhvata sistematskom imunizacijom. Ovo oboljenje se danas najčešće registruje u obliku pojedinačnih slučajeva kod nevakcinisane odojčadi i male dece. Blaži oblici pertussisa u starijem uzrastu i kod imunizovane dece verovatno ostaju neprepoznati. U cilju sagledavanja realne epidemiološke situacije, blagovremenog otkrivanja epidemija i sprovođenja odgovarajućih mera potrebno je unaprediti nadzor i laboratorijsku dijagnostiku nad ovom bolešću.
