Zaštita naseljenih područja od poplava pomoću retenzionih bazena

Sažetak

Uloga retenzionih bazena u zaštiti naseljenih područja od poplava razmatra se kroz svetska iskustva i tehničke preporuke. Predmetna problematika obuhvata niz inženjerskih zadataka, počev od dimenzionisanja bazena i određivanja njihove efikasnosti u smanjenju poplava, prečišćavanju voda i zadržavanju nanosa, preko projektovanja kontrolnih objekata i određivanja uticaja ispuštanja vode na nizvodno područje, do načina prostornog i pejzažnog uređenja i mera održavanja. Pored osnovne uloge u zaštiti od poplava retenzioni bazeni daju i značajan doprinos zaštiti životne sredine. Za realizaciju projekata retenzionih bazena bitno je sticanje podrške šire javnosti, što nije moguće bez njenog upoznavanja sa raznim prednostima ovog vida zaštite od poplava. Razmatrana materija ilustrovana je primerom iz naše prakse.
