Fizičkohemijske osobine 3,4,5-trimetoksibenzoata Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) i Zn(II)

Sažetak

Sintetizovana su jedinjenja Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) i Zn(II) sa anjonom 3,4,5-trimetoksibenzoeve kiseline opšte formule M M(C10H11O5)2.nH2O, gde je n = 6 za Ni(II), n = 1 za Mn(II), Co(II), Cu(II) i n = 0 za Zn. Ova jedinjenja su karakterisana elementalnom analizom, IR spektroskopijom, rendgenskom difrakcijom, termogravimetrijom i magnetnim proučavanjima. To su kristalna jediwewa koje karakterišu različite simetrije. Pri grejanju na vazduhu do 1273 K ova jedinjenja se raspadaju na različite načine. Prvo, u jednom stupnju ona se dehidrišu do anhidrovane soli. Krajnji proizvod razlaganja su oksidi odgovarajućih metala (Mn2O3, Co3O4, NiO, CuO, ZnO). Rastvorljivosti analiziranih kompleksa u vodi na 293 K su reda veličine 10-2 – 10-4 mol dm-3. Magnetni susceptibiliteti kompleksa Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II) i Cu(II) mereni su u opsegu 76 – 303 Ki izračunati magnetni momenti. Rezultati pokazuju da su Mn(II), Co(II) i Ni(II) 3,4,5-trimetoksibenzoati visokospinski kompleksi, dok Cu(II) stvara dimer [Cu2(C10H11O5)4(H2O)2]. Karboksilatne grupe se vezuju kao monodentantni ili bidentatni helatni ili premošćujući ligandi.
