Kreda-Paleogen granični sloj Fish Clay sa Højerup-a (Stevns Klint, Danska) Zn, Pb i REE u kerogenu

Sažetak

Urađene su geohemijske analize Zn, Pb i elemenata retkih zemalja (La, Ce, Nd, Sm, Eu, Tb, Yb i Lu) u kerogenu crnog laporca iz kreda paleogen graničnog sloja Fish Clay sa Højerup lokacije. Znatan deo Zn, Pb i elemenata retkih zemalja, verovatno, je bio sadržan u kopnenim humičnim supstancama (preteči kerogena) pri dotoku na mesto morske sedimentacije. Ovo je u skladu sa prethodnim pretpostavkama da kerogen, uglavnom, potiče od humičnih kiselina iz zemljišta okolne priobalne oblasti istočne Danske. Takođe, pretpostavlja se da su humične supstance obogaćene Zn, Pb i elementima retkih zemalja prenete površinskim vodama, uglavnom, do mesta sedimentacije Fish Clay-a. Spiranje kiselim površinskim vodama asteroidne padavine na okolnom zemljištu i stenama, verovatno, je igralo značajnu ulogu u obogaćivanju navedenih humičnih supstanca cinkom, olovom i elementima retkih zemalja. Izgleda da hondritski i ne-hondritski Zn potiče od asteroidne padavine; Pb i retke zemlje, najverovatnije, potiču od okolnih stena u priobalnoj oblasti istočne Danske.
