Konzervacija i usmereno korišćenje šumskih genetičkih resursa

Sažetak
Šumski genetički resursi predstavljaju genetički diverzitet sadržan u hiljadama vrsta šumskog drveća na Zemlji. Njihova konzervacija predstavlja skup aktivnosti i strategija, koje se sprovode sa ciljem obezbeđenja kontinuirane egzistencije, evolucije i dostupnosti ovih resursa za sadašnje i buduće generacije. Cilj upravljanja genetičkim resursima jeste unapređenje uslova za kontinuirano evoluiranje vrsta, koje predstavlja odbrambeni mehanizam organizama u borbi sa promenama sredine.
