Uticaj bezglutenske ishrane na način života dece sa celijakijom

Sažetak

Celijakija je autoimuna bolest, koja nastaje usled neadekvatne imunološke reakcije kod genetski predisponiranih osoba pri kontaktu s glutenom, koji je prisutan u pšenici, raži, ječmu i ovsu. Uklanjanje glutena iz ishrane može biti težak zadatak jer žitarice koje sadrže gluten su veoma zastupljene u svakodnevnoj ishrani ljudi i rasprostranjenje su širom sveta. Ovim radom je evaluirana dostupna literatura a u cilju sagledavanja uticaja bezglutenske ishrane na način života dece sa celijakijom. Neka od sprovedenih istraživanja ukazuju da dijeta bez glutena donosi mnogo društvenog kompromisa u životu dece i porodica koje imaju člana sa ovim problemom u svakodnevnoj organizaciji života. Aspekti kao što su: unakrsna kontaminacija sa žitaricama koje sadrže gluten, visoke cene, nedostupnost bezglutenskih proizvoda i neodgovarajuće etiketiranje hrane mogu ugroziti lečenje tj. poštovanje dijetalne ishrane. Kod dece s celijakijom zabeležena je i visoka incidenca psiholoških problema, anksioznost, depresija, strahovi, osećanje tuge i nizak nivo tolerancije na frustraciju. Za bolji, kvalitetniji i zdraviji život obolelih od celijakije potreban je stalni nadzor nad proizvodnjom i prometom bezglutenske hrane ali i kontinuirana edukacija zdravstvenih radnika, farmaceuta, ugostitelja, hotelijera i trgovaca o ovoj bolesti. tj. neophodna je šira društvena aktivnost i veće angažovanje državnih institucija.
