Antioksidativna aktivnost kore mandarine (Citrus reticulata)

Sažetak

Kora mandarine, sporedni proizvod koji nastaje tokom proizvodnje soka, ekstrahovana je konvencionalnom ekstrakcijom 70% acetonom. Sadržaj flavonoida u ekstraktu kore mandarine određen je tečnom hromatografijom visoke efikasnosti (HPLC). Utvrđeno je da je najzastupljeniji flavonoid hesperidin. Utvrđene su i antioksidativne aktivnosti ekstrakta kore mandarine na stabilne DPPH i reaktivne hidroksil radikale. EC50 vrednost određena u DPPH spektrofotometrijskom testu iznosila je 0,179 mg/ml, dok je vrednost određena ESR metodom na hidroksil radikale bila 0,415 mg/ml. Takođe, ekstrakt kore mandarine pokazao je zaštitni efekat tokom ubrzane oksidacije suncokretovog ulja izazvane skladištenjem. Dobijeni rezultati ukazuju na mogućnost upotrebe kore mandarine kao značajnog izvora prirodnih antioksidanata.
