Sažetak

Cilj ove studije bio je da se identifikuju pojedine morfološke karakteristike i brzinsko-snažne sposobnosti košarkaša uzrasta 10 i 11 godina, kao i da se utvrde eventualne razlike između njih, u odnosu na uzrast. Istraživanje je sprovedeno na uzorku od 84 mlada košarkaša uzrasta 10 (N=46) i 11 (N=38) godina. Izmerene su motoričke varijable: eksplozivnost ramenog pojasa (bacanje lopte iz košarkaškog stava), eksplozivnost nogu (vertikalni skok sa dohvatom), brzinska snaga trupa (ležanje-sed za 1O sekundi), izdržljivost u brzinskoj snazi trupa (ležanje-sed za 30 sekundi), brzina promene smera kretanja (T-test agilnosti), ubrzanje (trčanje na 5 i na 20 metara). Takođe, izmerene su morfološke varijable: telesna visina, telesna masa, procenat telesne masti i procenat mišića. Jedanaestogodišnjaci su u svim testovima ostvarili bolje rezultate u odnosu na desetogodišnjake. Dobijene su statistički značajne razlike (r<0.01) između dve grupe ispitanika u telesnoj visini, procentu mišića u telu, eksplozivnosti ramenog pojasa, kao i u brzini promene smera kretanja. Na nivou statističke značajnosti (r<0.05) razlike su ispoljene u telesnoj masi i sposobnosti ubrzanja.
