Hijerarhijsko ili podeljeno liderstvo? Ispitivanje razlika u ponašanjima sportskih lidera na osnovu liderskog statusa u sportu

Sažetak

Cilj ovog istraživanja je da se ispitaju razlike u ponašanjima sportskih lidera na osnovu sopstvenog procenjenog liderskog statusa. Sportisti različitih koledža (N = 299) su samostalno identifikovali svoj liderski status (tj. formalni lider, neformalni lider, sledbenik) i ocenili učestalost svog sopstvenog liderskog ponašanja. Rezultati su pokazali da su se formalni sportski lideri angažovali češće u Treningu i Obuci nego neformalni sportski lideri; kod neformalnih sportskih lidera je veće angažovanje u ovim dimenzijama nego kod sledbenika. Šta više, kod formalnih i neformalnih sportskih lidera je potvrđeno veće angažovanje u Društvenoj podršci nego kod sledbenika. Ovi nalazi pružaju preliminarne dokaze za hijerarhijski pristup liderstvu kod sportista. Nisu pronađene razlike kod Demokratskog ponašanja, kao ni kod Pozitivne povratne informacije, što ukazuje na to da se sportsko liderstvo takođe distribuira među saigračima. Rezultati ovog istraživanja pružaju važne "praktične implikacije" za sportske radnike u pogledu razvoja sportskog liderstva.
