Sažetak

Strukturne promene su ključne za održivi industrijski razvoj. Cilj rada je da ukaže da bi strukturne promene srpske prerađivačke industrije trebale da budu praćene rastom proizvodne specijalizacije i učešća proizvoda sa najvišim nivoom tehnološke intenzivnosti, kako bi došlo do rasta konkurentnosti. Za potrebe analize strukturnih promena koristi se komparativni metod, za analizu proizvodne specijalizacije indeks specijalizacije industrijskog sektora, a za analizu konkurentnosti indeks otkrivenih komparativnih prednosti. Prerađivačka industrija je najvažniji sektor ekonomije Srbije u kome i pored rasta specijalizacija nije visoka, što utiče da ovaj sektor ne ostvaruje komparativne prednosti i nije konkurentan na tržištu EU. Rad je može biti od pomoći kreatorima industrijske politike, kako bi se odredio najbolji put ka održivom industrijskom razvoju, koristeći prednosti proizvodne specijalizacije.
