Dužina nelečene psihoze - definicija termina, opis problema i uticaj na prognozu bolesti

Sažetak

Koncept dužine nelečene psihoze (DNP) izazvao je veliko interesovanje tokom poslednje dekade usled verovatne povezanosti sa terapijskim ishodom i značaja koji ima za prevenciju psihotičnih poremećaja, posebno shizofrenije. U ovom radu data su objašnjenja pojma DNP, analizirane su njegove komponente i prikazani problemi i izazovi u oblasti metodologije i ispitivanja DNP. Osim toga, ukratko se iznosi pregled literature koja pojašnjava koncept i naglašava njegov značaj. Prema dostupnim podacima, DNP utiče na ishod poremećaja koji zavisi od faze u kojoj je započeto lečenje, a takođe doprinosi verovatnoći pojave relapsa. Takođe, danas postoje i istraživanja povezanosti DNP i ostalih aspekata ishoda, na primer negativnog sindroma i kognicije, koja su u radu data kroz pregled dve meta-analize. Važno je naglasiti da se intenzivno nastavljaju istraživanja DNP i da su jedan od važnih pokazatelja uspeha lečenja započetog tokom različitih faza bolesti, ali praćenje DNP predstavlja i meru kvaliteta informativnih i edukativnih kampanja u okviru programa ranih intervencija. U našoj sredini prvi korak u borbi za skraćenje DNP je utvrđivanje dužine nelečene psihoze, a odmah zatim i pokretanje aktivnosti na nivou službi zdravstvene zaštite i šire, radi informisanja javnosti o ranim psihotičnim ispoljavanjima i mogućnosti za odgovarajuće (ranije) intervencije.
