Uncertainty evaluation of the results of electrical insulation tester calibration and its application for testing

Abstract
In this paper evaluation of the uncertainty of electrical insulation tester calibration and evaluation of the uncertainty of electrical insulation testing results, are presented in details. The uncertainty of measurements is evaluated according guides whose abbreviated marks are: GUM and EA - 4/02 M:2013. Traceability of standards used in calibration and traceability of measuring instruments used in testing, is obliged. The calibration of measuring instrument is performed at reference conditions by accredited laboratory for calibration. When using calibrated measuring instrument for outdoor measurement then the working conditions may be different from the reference conditions, and expanded uncertainty can have larger value.
