Verski fundiran terorizam - religija kao inicijator nasilja

Sažetak

Mnoge terorističke organizacije svoje postupke i odluke jasno baziraju na verskoj osnovi i ideologija svakako igra ključnu ulogu u izgradnji pogleda na svet pripadnika terorističkih organizacija, gde nije statična ili uspavana referentna tačka, nego se kontinuirano razvija. Alternativni pogled na odnos između religije i promena opisuje religiju kao inicijatora promena u svetu i na prvi pogled, veza između verskog ekstremizma i terorizma izgleda očigledna. Ovaj vid terorizma je u ekspanziji u pogledu učestalosti, stepenu nasilja, i globalnim dometima. U radu će se fokus staviti na religiozni aspekt terorizma, gde će se prezentovani religija kao mač sa dve oštrice koji može i podstaći i obeshrabriti svetske promene, a može pomoći i nasilnom i mirnom aktivizmu. Takođe će se analizirati neki primeri verski utemeljenog nasilja koji su ustvari jasni primeri terorizma, gde se svaki naredni se mora uzeti u obzir u okviru svog istorijskog i kulturnog konteksta. Cilj ovog rada je da shvati značaj uticaja religije i terorizma i razume razlog za povećanje istog.
