Simulation and time measurement of flyback of electromagnetic valve armature

Mathematical models of physical system are widely used to better understand manner of functioning, behavioral predictions and examination of interactions between parts of a system. Simulations based on a model can help gather information about the system before performing actual experiments which can be expensive and complicated. In this paper we represent mathematical model of an electro-pneumatic valve. Simulation is preformed using SIMULIK. Results of the simulation are verified by measurement on a particular valve.
