Primena ozona u postupku prečišćavanja voda

Sažetak

U ovom radu predstavljena je primena ozonizacije i srodnih oksidacionih procesa prilikom tretiranja prirodnih voda (površinskih i podzemnih) za dobijanje pijaće vode. Proizvodnjom pijaće vode iz prirodnih voda neophodno je uklanjanje brojnih prisutnih sastojaka (materije neorganskog porekla huminske materije, toksični mikrozagađivači). Oksidansi koji se koriste u postupku prečišćavanja voda mogu biti dodati u nekoliko tačaka prilikom tretmana, a to su pred-oksidacija, glavna oksidacija ili finalna dezinfekcija. Brojni efekti procesa oksidacije, analizirani su tokom trajanja procesa prečišćavanja vode: uklanjanje neorganskih vrsta, pomoć pri koagulaciono-flokulacionim procesima, razgradnja organskih materija i dezinfekcija. Uklanjanje organskih materija (prirodne huminske supstance mikrozagađenja) ima naročito veliku važnost u proizvodnji pijaće vode, da bi se sprečila njihova razgradnja u distribuiranoj vodi jer utiču na loš ukus i miris vode kao i da bi se smanjila količina nus proizvoda koji nastaju prilikom dezinfekcije vode usled velikog sadržaja ovih materija. U savremenoj praksi se za dezinfekciju vode za piće u vodovodima sve češće primenjuje ozon kao jak oksidans. Ozon je postao alternativa hloru u dezinfikovanju vode, pre svega zbog svoje biocidne aktivnosti, kao i zbog mogućnosti bolje pripreme vode za piće i povećanog stepena uklanjanja mutnoće.
