Sažetak

Često se može pročitati kako vodeće svjetske firme primjenjuju RCM metodologiju za smanjenje troškova održavanja. U ovom radu se daje prilog razumijevanju sadržaja, dometa i nastanka metodologije RCM-održavanja prema pouzdanosti. RCM je metodologija primjenjiva kako za projektovanje optimalnog održavanja tehničkih sistema, tako i za optimizaciju održavanja sistema na upotrebi. Zbog velike popularnosti i primjene na Zapadu, bitno je razumijevanje njenih osnovnih karakteristika kako bi se stvorili uslovi za primjenu i u našoj privredi.
