Pravo deteta na participaciju - razvojno-psihološki aspekti

Sažetak

Pitanje koje se često postavlja kada je u pitanju Konvencija o pravima deteta jeste u kojoj meri ona može da sadrži univerzalna i generalizovana tvrđenja o deci koja bi bila nezavisna od bilo kakvog društvenog i kulturnog konteksta (univerzalizam - relativizam), kao i koja slika o detetu u njoj preovlađuje: pasivno dete (objekat zaštite/prava), ili dete kao aktivni učesnik u svom razvoju (subjekat prava). U ovom tekstu se razmatraju razvojni aspekti prava na participaciju, tj. razvojno-psihološko tumačenje participacije: a) participacija kao osnovna potreba i b) participacija kao mehanizam razvoja. Ovakva razvojno-psihološka interpretacija participacije spaja dve inače suprotstavljene paradigme od kojih jedna stavlja akcenat na potrebe, prirodno i univerzalno u razvoju, a druga stavlja akcenat na kompetencije i na razvoj koji je uslovljen kontekstom (relativizam).
