Sažetak
Ovaj članak predstavlja prilog sociologiji postmodernizma izvođenjem ove ideologije savremenih intelektualaca iz tri vodeće karakteristike kasnomoderne proizvodnje znanja - karakteristike koje su, u pojačanoj formi, prenete u Postmodernu: 1) sve ubrzaniju hiperproizvodnju svih kulturnih dobara, uključujući tu i znanje kao verovatno najbrže rastuće; 2) proliferaciju instrumentalno definisane i orijentisane nauke, koja se sve manje može odvojiti i razlikovati od njenih tehničkih korelativa (doslovno, tehnonauke); 3) činjenicu, i posebno sve veću opštu prihvaćenost činjenice da je sva proizvodnja znanja, a posebno tehnonauka povezana sa posebnim interesima. Smatram da se instrumentalna racionalnost, na ovaj način ovladavajući proizvodnjom znanja, približava Kuhnovom konceptu nesamerljivosti različitih režima proizvodnje znanja i zato možemo da razumemo enorman filozofski interes za taj koncept. Naposletku, ističem da u našem 'društvu rizika' sve pomenute karakteristike proizvodnje znanja čine opsolentnim tradicionalno pozivanje naučnika na istinu kao nadređenu normu koja pokriva njihov beg od odgovornosti, i umesto toga vodi podređivanju proizvodnje znanja moralnim razmatranjima i posebno zahtevu za odgovornošću.
