Sažetak

U ovom istraživanju pripremljeni su preparati koji sadrže zelene staklene bočice i osušenu i drobljenu biljku mate (Ilex paraguarinensis) različitih masenih frakcija (10-30%) za dobijanje staklene pene za potrebe toplotne izolacije. Ove kompozicije su jednoosno pritisnute (za 40 MPa), a kompaktni prahovi pečeni su na 850° C i 900° C u trajanju od 60 minuta kako bi se ispitao uticaj biljke mate i temperature na formiranje pora i termičkih i mehaničkih osobina obrađenih staklenih pena. Rezultati ukazuju da staklene pene pokazuju poroznosti u rasponu od 65,3-88,3%, jačinu pritiska u rasponu od 15-1,5 MPa i toplotnu provodljivost u rasponu od 0,6-0,04 Wm-1K-1. Kumulativno, ove staklene pene su kandidati za termičke izolatore koji imaju pogodne osobine za različite industrijske primene.
