Sažetak

Cilj rada je predstaviti koncept turizma hrane sa speciajnim naglaskom na potencijale njegovog razvoja u području AP Vojvodine u Republici Srbiji. Posebna pažnja posvećena je predstavljanju lokalnih resursa (prirodnih, društvenih, itd.), koji su pogodni za razvoj turizma hrane. Takođe, rad ističe važnost turističkih događaja koji doprinose popularizaciji lokalnih kulinarskih specijaliteta, tj. manifestacija koje se održavaju u čast hrane u ruralnim sredinama, a koje mogu i / ili već predstavljaju osnovu za razvoj turizma hrane. Autori u istraživanju ističu mogućnosti komplementarnog razvoja različitih vrsta turizma na osnovu hrane koja je karakteristična za područje AP Vojvodine, a posebna pažnja se posvećuje razvoju ruralnog turizma. Na taj način rad prikazuje neke od smernica za budući razvoj prehrambenog turizma u ciljnom području. Ako bi se turizam povezivao sa poljoprivrednom proizvodnjom, tj. hranom koja je karakteristična za područje Vojvodine, dobio bi se novi kvalitet imidža ove turističke destinacije. Povezivanjem turizma, poljoprivrede, događaja, trgovine hranom može se pokrenuti razvoj ruralnih područja u AP Vojvodini, a to može biti jedan od načina da se reše brojni problemi koji danas opterećuju ruralna područja.
