In the first part the article deals with up to now models and range of privatization in Serbia that so far embraced 69,93% of sum total socialistic enterprises. Of sum-total of enterprises about 18% is sold out and in remaining the process of capital increase is conveyed. On the other hand, 12,7% of enterprises that contain 44% of sum-total of capital are governmentalised or transformed into public enterprises. In its second part the article provide analysis of research data showing that citizens of Serbia are giving negative valuations concerning the process of privatization. More than a half (52,6%) maintain that prevailing course of privatization amounts to a mere robbery of 'social' ownership, and one fifth (19,4%) that some individuals have had unjustly enrich themselves but that many of the enterprises are therefore redeemed from bankruptcy. More then a half citizens (52,1%) prefers private ownership, i.e. transformation of 'social' undertakings into private.
