Multikulturni lokaliteti - iskustva ne/udomljenosti

Sažetak

(Ovaj rad prvi put je objavljen u Complex entaglements: Art, globalisation and cultural difference, edited by Nikos Papastergiadis, 178-204. London: Rivers oram press, 2003.) Služeći se primerima iz svakodnevnog života, kao i australijske i kanadske književnosti, filma i video-produkcije, rad analizira razne koreografije pokreta tela i signala, odnosno somatski registar pripadanja i nepripadanja široj zajednici, kojim se, između ostalog, potvrđuje i akustično pravo i, šire, pravo na prostor određene grupe, ali se istovremeno njime iz tog istog prostora isključuju neke druge grupe i ukidaju im se ta ista prava. Za rad je posebno značajan Fanonov uvid u to da je nemir neudomljenosti rezervisan samo za pojedina tela u određenom (javnom) prostoru - isti se dalje razmatra u svetlu novih teorija tela, spacijalizacije i feminstičke geografije, sa ciljem da se pokaže da su, prvo, multikulturni lokaliteti iz naslova sama tela u koja se upisuje dinamika globalizacije i mešanja rasa, i drugo, da je upravo iz tog razloga, zbog tih nepovratno izmešanih rasa, multikulturalizam, sa svojim binarnostima i 'umrtvljujućim' esencijalizmima, prevaziđen i kao diskurs i kao praksa. Rad, najzad, postavlja mnoga važna pitanja vezana za komunikaciju, identitet, pripadanje, ali i institucije i funkcije umetnika i edukatora, od kojih mnoga nužno ostaju otvorena i ukazuju na dalje pravce ne samo kritikovanja nego i, eventualno, prevazilaženja multikulturalizma.
