Sažetak

Značaj intelektualnog kapitala za stvaranje i održavanje konkurentske prednosti preduzeća je dobro utvrđen i potvrđen u teoriji i praksi. Intelektualni resursi su se pokazali kao najvredniji resursi u procesu stvaranja vrednosti za različite stejkholdere. Počev od 1980-ih i istraživači i praktičari su se fokusirali na pronalaženje najboljeg rešenja za merenje intelektualnog kapitala kako bi omogućili efikasno upravljanje i izveštavanje o intelektualnom kapitalu. Ubrzo zatim, njihova pažnja se sa organizacionog nivoa pomerila na gradove, regione i nacionalne privrede. Nacionalni intelektualni kapital je postao najznačajniji pokretač nacionalnog bogatstva. U tom smislu, cilj ovog rada je da istraži koncept nacionalnog intelektualnog kapitala, kao i različite raspoložive metodologije za merenje nematerijalnih resursa na nivou nacionalnih privreda. Kritička ocena prezentovanih metodologija će dati uvid kreatorima politika kako da identifikuju i vrednuju nacionalni intelektualni kapital u cilju povećanja njihovog nacionalnog bogatstva i poboljšanja dobrobiti njihovih građana.
