Sažetak
Hipoglikemija, kao najčešća akutna komplikacija dijabetes melitusa, je urgentno stanje koje dovodi do prolaznog ili trajnog moždanog oštećenja. Terapija hipoglikemija se sastoji u davanju koncentrovanih slatkih napitaka, hipertone glukoze ili ampule glukagona. U radu se ukazuje na značaj koji glukagon ima kao lek za adekvatno i potpuno zbrinjavanje hipoglikemija u prehospitalnoj praksi. Opisana su i iskustva terenskih ekipa u ZZHMP Niš u njegovoj primeni kod pacijenata sa hipoglikemijom, kao i njegove prednosti i nedostaci u odnosu na hipertonu glukozu.
Abstract
Hypoglycemia, as the most often complication of diabetes mellitus, is emergency condition which leads to transient or permanent brain damage. Therapy for hypoglycemia consists of concentrated sweet drinks, hypertonic glucose or vials of glucagon. This work points out the importance of glucagon as a medicine for adequate treatment of hypoglycemia in pre hospital settings. We described experiences of mobile teams of EMS Nis in administrating glucagon to patients with hypoglycemia, as well as its advantage and disadvantage compared to hypertonic glucose.
