Sažetak

Globalni problemi u oblastima energetike i ekologije sve češće nameću pitanje u naučnim, ekonomskim, pa i političkim krugovima, da li će u budućnosti čovečanstvo moći da zadovolji svoje potrebe na nivou na kojem je to danas moguće. S tim u vezi, problem održivog razvoja je postao predmet brojnih analiza, a velika pažnja se posvećuje upravo održivom razvoju u oblastima energetike i ekologije, kao oblastima koje sudbonosno određuju opstanak i razvoj čovečanstva. Postoji više teorija o tome koji su glavni elementi energetsko-ekološke održivosti. U ovom radu će kao osnova za teorijsku i praktičnu analizu biti korišćeni principi održivog razvoja Hermana E. Delija. Za potrebe analize, kreiran je novi pokazatelj koji uvažava pomenute principe održivog razvoja i koji je nazvan Indeks energetsko-ekološke održivosti. U ovom radu je analizirana energetsko-ekološka održivost u 130 zemalja sveta, čime je obuhvaćeno preko 90% svetske populacije i bruto društvenog proizvoda (BDP). Kroz rangiranje zemalja i klaster analizu, nastoje se uočiti zajedničke karakteristike grupa zemalja i prepoznati faktori koji doprinose stanju energetsko-ekološke održivosti u analiziranim zemljama.
