Tromboflebitis unutrašnje jugularne vene posle tonzilektomije

Sažetak

Uvod Tromboflebitis unutrašnje jugularne vene može nastati kao retka komplikacija orofaringealne infekcije i tonzilektomije. Kliničke odlike obično uključuju akutnu pojavu inflamacije sa nastankom venske tromboze i sekundarnom septičnom propagacijom (Lemierov sindrom). Cilj ovog rada je bio da prikažemo redak slučaj trombof- lebitisa unutrašnje jugularne vene posle tonzilektomije. Prikaz bolesnika Prikazujemo inače zdravog 25-godišnjeg muškarca kod kojeg je urađena tonzilektomija zbog hroničnog tonzilitisa. Dve nedelje posle operacije ponovo je hospitalizovan zbog visoke temperature, difuznog otoka leve strane vrata, malaksalosti, bolnog gutanja i ograničenog otvaranja usta. Tromboflebitis leve unutrašnje jugularne vene dijagnostikovan je ultrazvučnim pregledom. Potpuni oporavak je postignut za tri nedelje kombinacijom antibiotika i antikoagulantne/antitrombotične terapije. Zaključak Tonzilektomija je faktor rizika za nastanak tromboflebitisa unutrašnje jugularne vene kod odraslih osoba sa hroničnim tonzilitisom, naročito ako se očekuje ili se tokom operacije utvrdi postojanje fibroznih adhezija.
