Sažetak

(ne postoji na srpskom)
Today, in the planetary dimension view, sport represents one of the most outstanding social phenomena, whose study necessarily implies both multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary character. However, besides a number of constituted scientific disciplines, all of which in their own field are engaged in the research work and in explication of subject matter contents not a single scientific discipline (nor all together) can overtake all dimensions of sport and express its essential being and its phenomenological essence. All of them, by natural order of things, are overgrown by certain fundamental questions which transcendent the existing systems of knowledge and consequently even the domains of their narrow specialist engagements. Such questions require higher levels of philosophical-intellectual powers. We refer to ontological, epistemological, logical, semantic, ethical esthetical and other general questions, which, in the terms of linguistics and substance-matter, enborder and determine the issues named sports philosophy.
