Nanotehnologija - perspektive i moguće opasnosti primene u vojnoj industriji

Sažetak

Od kraja 70-ih godina prošlog veka, razvila se jedna nova vrsta tehnologije na globalnom nivou - nanotehnologije, koja je omogućila manipulaciju materijom na atomskom nivou. U kombinaciji sa biotehnologijom i informacionom tehnologijom predstavlja ključnu tehnologiju XXI veka koja ima dalekosežne implikacije za nauku, industrijski razvoj i stvaranje novih proizvoda. Nanotehnologija ima izuzetno veliku perspektivu primene u svim granama industrije, a pogotovo u vojnog industriji, što će prevashodno promeniti iz srži način ratovanja i vođenje borbe na bojnom polju XXI veka. Primena mini robota, nano senzora, detektora, vlakana, optičkih uređaja, sredstava telekomunikacije i dr. nano uređaja i proizvoda, predstavljaće odlučujući faktor, jer superiornija tehnologija je uvek bila ta koja je jednoj od suparničkih strana u konfliktu omogućivala prevlast na bojnom polju. Drugim rečima i male razlike u razvoju i primeni tehnologije, a u ovom slučaju nanotehnologije, mogu dovesti do značajnih razlika u ishodu oružanog sukoba. Sa druge strane rizik od primene nanotehologije obuhvata širok opseg pretnji i opasnosti koje u kombinaciji sa brzim razvojem veštačke inteligencije, genetičkog inženjeringa i biotehnologije, mogu izazvati ozbiljnu opasnost za međunarodnu sigurnost. Nanotehnologija kao 'tehnologija budućnosti' dovešće do revolucionarnih promena, a sa druge strane stvoriće se niz novih rizika koji se sa ratne pozornice XXI veka mogu veoma lako preliti na civilni sektor što može imati nesagledive posledice ne samo na čoveka već i za čitav živi svet na Zemlji. U radu je iznesen istorijski razvoj i komercijalizacija nanotehnologije, pri čemu je poseban naglasak dat na primeni nanotehnologije u vojnoj industriji, sa osvrtom na njenu perspektivu i moguće opasnosti, kao i njenu kontrolu od primene u vojnoj sferi.
