Sažetak

U radu se ukazuje na značaj poboljšanja efektivnosti kriznog menadžmenta kroz primenu savremenih koncepata krizne komunikacije. Stoga je najpre dat pregled osnovnih pojmova krize, kriznog menadžmenta i komunikacije, kako bi se uočio mogući prostor za unapređenja na bazi spoja dve menadžment discipline. U ovim definicijama, posebna pažnja je posvećena uticaju krize na reputaciju organizacije, kao i ulozi koju bi komunikacija trebalo da ima za uspešno sprovođenje kriznog menadžmenta. To između ostalog podrazumeva usvajanje procesnog pristupa kriznom menadžmentu i komunikaciji, kao i izbor adekvatne strategije krizne komunikacije.
