Osobine ličnosti kao medijatori u relacijama stilova roditeljstva i samopoštovanja učenika osnovnih škola

Sažetak

Rezultati dosadašnjih istraživanja ukazali su na povezanost stilova roditeljstva i samopoštovanja adolescenata, ali se još uvek nedovoljno zna o mehanizmima koji stoje u osnovi tih relacija. Stoga je cilj ovog istraživanja bio da se ispita uloga osobina ličnosti kao medijatora u odnosu između stilova roditeljstva i samopoštovanja adolescenata. Na uzorku od 450 učenika osnovnih škola (53,6% devojčica, 46,4% dečaka) uzrasta od 13 do 15 godina primenjeni su upitnik interpersonalnih ponašanja roditelja, Rozenbergova skala samopoštovanja i inventar za procenu osobina ličnosti BFI. Prediktori su bili podrška od strane oca/majke, kriterijum samopoštovanje, a medijatori osobine ličnosti. Rezultati medijatorskih analiza indikuju da su svi testirani modeli direktnih i indirektnih efekata statistički značajni. Bootstrapping pokazatelj ukazuje na to da su ekstraverzija, savesnost, prijatnost i otvorenost prema iskustvu statistički značajni medijatori testiranih relacija, dok jedino neuroticizam nije. Osnovni zaključak našeg istraživanja je da odnosi između stilova roditeljstva i samopoštovanja dece dele složen prostor merenja i da te relacije zavise od sklopa ličnosti dece. Takođe, rezultati pokazuju da su efekti stilova roditeljstva očeva i majki na samopoštovanje dece gotovo izjednačeni. Dobijeni nalazi doprinose boljem razumevanju uticaja roditelja na razvoj samopoštovanja mladih, kao i saznanjima korisnim za praktičan savetodavni i pedagoški rad.
