Sažetak

Tema ovog naučnog rada su društvene mase i masovno društvo. Predmet istraživanja biće sužen na definisanje pojmova "društvena masa" i "masovno društvo" i iznalaženje sličnosti i razlika među njima. Autor polazi od početne pretpostavke da su društvene mase i masovna društva dva slična, ali i poprilično različita pojma. U radu su korišćeni sledeći metodi: posmatranje, analiza sadržaja, razvojni metod, strukturalni pristup, uporedni metod, analitički pristup... Naučno opravdanje istraživanja proizilazi iz utvrđivanja sličnosti i razlika između ova dva pojma, čime se daje značajan doprinos izgradnji Sociologije masa, kao jedne od naučnih disciplina sociologije. Društveni domašaj istraživanja zasniva se na propitivanju društvenih masa i snage uticaja masovnog društva na savremena društvena kretanja.
