Sažetak

Danas se u okviru proizvodne faze lanca vrednosti mogu primeniti brojni alati za povećanje operativne efikasnosti i kvaliteta proizvoda. Međutim, Kaizen se može shvatiti kao jedna od osnovnih lean tehnika. Kontinuirano poboljšanje omoguéno zahvaljujući Kaizen konceptu predstavlja ključni element japanskog menadžmenta i izvor konkurentnosti. Prednosti jednog efektivnog programa kontinuiranog poboljšanja ogledaju se u troškovnoj efikasnosti, smanjenju otpada i poboljšanju kvaliteta proizvoda. Poučene japanskim uspehom, mnoge kompanije usvojile su Kaizen kao tehniku poboljšanja proizvodne efikasnosti i ostvarenja poslovne izvrsnosti. I pored toga što je implementacija Kaizena dovela do poboljšanja performansi u mnogim kompanijama i što njegova primena ima svetske razmere, uočeni su brojni problemi i poteškoće u sprovođenju van Japana. Na proces transfera primene tehnike Kaizena utiču brojni faktori čiji se značaj i intenzitet razlikuje u zavisnovi od zemlje u kojoj se ova tehnika primenjuje. Iako se na prvi pogled Kaizen čini jednostavan, radi se o kompleksnom procesu njegove primene, koji treba prilagođavati specifičnostima okruženja u kome se primenjuje uz uvažavanje brojnih uticajnih faktora.
