Ekološka znanja i informisanost makedonskih studenata

Sažetak

Svrha ove studije je istražiti kognitivni domen ekološkog obrazovanja učenika u Republici Severnoj Makedoniji. Glavni zadaci studije su (1) uporediti ekološko znanje i informisanost učenika osnovnih i srednjih škola u Republici Severnoj Makedoniji i (2) analizirati dobijene podatke. Dva instrumenta korišćena su za prikupljanje podataka na uzorku od 1.003 učenika iz 37 osnovnih i srednjih škola Republike Severne Makedonije. Rezultati studije sugerišu da učenici obuhvaćeni uzorkom imaju nizak nivo ekološkog znanja i poznavanja ekoloških informacija. Učenici srednjih škola imaju statistički viši nivo ekološke informisanosti. Vrlo je značajno da se u zemljama u razvoju sprovode empirijska istraživanja znanja o životnoj sredini, kako bi se rezultati mogli koristiti u procesu kreiranja politike zaštite životne sredine. Potrebno je da razvijamo nastavne planove i programe koji su u skladu s individualnim razlikama, potrebama, gledištima i sposobnostima učenika. Programi ekološkog obrazovanja treba da obuhvataju sve komponente životne sredine: prirodne sisteme, materijalne i ljudske resurse. Na postignuća učenika moramo gledati u kontekstu sveobuhvatnih socioekonomskih uslova u kojima sprovodimo obrazovni proces. Kako bismo povećali učenička znanja i informisanost o okruženju, potrebno je da budu uključene ne samo škole nego i drugi akteri. Obrazovanje za brigu o životnoj sredini treba da bude unapređeno korišćenjem sredstava masovnih komunikacija, posebno interneta.
