Because of considerable percent of minerals in geothermal waters, classic pipe heating systems are usable only with frequent washing. Namely, minerals from geothermal water form layers into the pipes, which reduce heating transfer coefficient, magnifying also heating loss because of stream. Therefore, heating transfer coefficient values are small. Moreover, if we use pipes, we can’t obtain heating area large enough. To solve this problem, we designed and installed new over-ground heating system, which greenhouse overall side areas makes work as heaters. We also modified underground heating system by replacing plastic pipes with zinc-galvanized, metal plate channel system. Thereby, by considerably enlarging heating transfer area, we provided optimal temperature values inside greenhouse. This enables growing thermo-sensitive vegetable sorts, by using low energy geothermal waters, even during winter period of year.
