Uticaj komorbidne depresivnosti na kvalitet života osoba sa epilepsijom

Sažetak

Cilj rada je procena komorbidnih simptoma depresivnosti i utvrđivanje njihovog uticaja na kvalitet života osoba sa epilepsijom. U istraživanje su uključeni pacijenti sa sigurnom dijagnozom epilepsije, starosti 18-65 godina, normalne inteligencije, bez progresivnih neuroloških oboljenja i/ili psihotičnih poremećaja. Simptomi depresivnosti procenjeni su Bekovom skalom depresivnosti (BSD), Listom simptoma - 90 (SCL-90) i Hamiltonovom skalom depresivnosti (HAMD). Kvalitet života je procenjen upitnikom QOLIE-31 (Quality of life in epilepsy inventory) - verzija na srpskom jeziku. Prediktivni efekat skorova depresivnosti na ukupni skor QOLIE-31 procenjen je uz pomoć multiple regresione analize. Istraživanjem su obuhvaćena 203 pacijenta (58.1% ženskog pola, 41.9% muškog pola) prosečne starosti 37.9 ± 13.64 godina. Kliničku dijagnozu depresivnog poremećaja imalo je 11.8% pacijenata. Prema BSD, simptomi depresivnosti su bili prisutni kod 33% pacijenata. Multipla regresiona analiza je pokazala značajnu korelaciju između sva tri instrumenta za procenu depresivnosti BSD, HAMD i SCL-90 - skor depresivnosti i ukupnog skora QOLIE-31. 64% ukupnog skora je determinisano ovim skorovima (F=51.88; p<0.001; R2= 0.63). Testovi regresionih koeficijenata su pokazali da je samo BSD skor značajni prediktor QOLIE-31 (beta =-0.55; t=-5.17; p<0.001). Sve podskale QOLIE-31 su u negativnoj i umereno izraženoj korelaciji sa skorovima depresivnosti (r=- 0.334 to -0.744). Depresija je cesto udružena sa epilepsijom i ima značajan uticaj na kvalitet života osoba sa epilepsijom.
