Sažetak

(ne postoji na srpskom)
In the ICD-X a great quantitative progress in comparison with former classifications of illnesses and alcoholism has been made. More precise and comprehensive diagnosis and registering of dependence phenomena, the impact on mental health, regular coding of other disorders connected with alcohol abuse are made possible by this Classification. Nevertheless the ultimate impression is that the diagnosis of alcoholism will be easy although incomplete, late and even false. In our opinion, if alcoholism is to be properly classified a better understanding of interpersonal meaning of alcoholism, the study of the family and eco-systemic components of drinking and alcoholism are to be taken into account. The least useful is if alcoholism is considered as physically caused psychic disorder which has occurred under the influence of a false consumption of psychoactive substances.
