Sažetak

U radu se razmatra hronološki i teorijski razvoj psihoterapije u pravcu formulisanja psihoterapijske paradigme kao izraza naučne uznapredovalosti u ovoj oblasti, kao i metodološke i empirijske pretpostavke integrativnih modela u psihoterapiji. Posebna pažnja se posvećuje pojavama koje obeležavaju oblast psihoterapije u novije vreme kao što su, sa jedne strane, naglasak na povećanoj potrebi za empirijskom proverom prakse i prateći trend ka specijalizaciji i, sa druge strane, osnaživanje trenda ka definisanju i istraživanju opštih mehanizama promene iz šire, integrativne i transteorijske perspektive.
