Sažetak

Uvod. Pušenje ima višestruki uticaj na ljudsko telo, izazivajući akutne i hronične promene koje su u vezi sa dužinom pušačkog staža i količinom duvana. Cilj rada: Prospektivnom randomiziranom studijom želeli smo da utvrdimo uticaj pušenja na hemodinamski status oka kod adolescenata. Metod. Kolor-dopler ultrasonografijom utvrđeni su maksimalna sistolna brzina protoka (PSV) i brzina protoka na kraju dijastole (EDV) u oftalmičnoj arteriji, centralnoj retinaloj arteriji i lateralnim i zadnjim medijalnim cilijarnim arterijama. Indeks otpora (RI) je izračunat po formuli RI: (VS-VD)/VS. Uz to, izvršeno je merenje sistolnog i dijastolnog krvnog pritiska i pulsa kod adolescenata. Rezultati. Nađeno je da su sistolni i dijastolni krvni pritisak kod adolescenata koji puše viši nego kod adolescenata koji ne puše i da je razlika statistički značajna (r=0,008 za sistolni i r=0,041 za dijastolni pritisak). Utvrđena je viša frekvencija pulsa kod pušača, ali razlika nije bila statistički značajna. U pogledu hemodinamskih vrednosti u vaskularnim strukturama orbite, nije utvrđena statistički značajna razlika između dve grupe. Zaključak. Pušenje može da ima kako akutni, tako i hronični efekat. U podacima iz naše studije primećuje se akutno sistemsko delovanje pušenja, međutim, ono nije dovelo do hemodinamskih promena u orbitalnim vaskularnim strukturama.
