Sažetak

U radu se razmatraju mogućnosti novih verzija Vekslerovog testa inteligencije u proceni neuropshiloških funkcija. U radu su prikazani dosadašnji napori koji su načinjeni u pravcu istraživanja odnosa inteligencije i moždanih struktura. Izloženi su potencijalni problemi koji stoje na putu da se test inteligencije još uspešnije koristi kao dijagnostičko sredstvo za procenu oštećenja neuroloških funkcija i lokalizaciju ovih oštećenja. Analiza subtestova i njihova uloga u najnovijim istraživanjima pokazuje varijabilnost u njihovoj primeni. Dok neki subtestovi uspevaju da angažuju izolovane funkcije, neki drugi, u zavisnosti od složenosti i obuhvatnosti zadatka unutar subtesta, angažuju istovremeno širi spektar funkcija koji se pokazuje skloniji interindividualnim varijacijama merenim neuroimage tehnikama, a istovremeno, bliži onome što se smatra opštom inteligencijom ili g faktorom.
