The integrated approach in teaching Serbian language to young learners

Young children, who are included in educational process, spend most of their time with their teachers. Therefore it is crucial to provide the best studying environment for the children aged 7-10. That is why , it is very important that, as many teachers as possible, gain academic skills, especially when developing those skills in Serbian language is considered. Positive qualitative changes in education would be encouraged by the interdisciplinary teams of experts in which the teacher would have a significant role. Contemporary education strives for knowledge development, which is based on numerous new ideas. One of these ideas is analyzing the importance of integration of interdisciplinary connections in education, which the students' educational development is influenced with.
