Experiential learning and adult education
Univerzitet u Beogradu, Filozofski fakultet, Srbija
Abstract
The aim of this paper is to relate experiential learning to adult education practice by exploring the use of experiential learning in educational setting and the context in which it takes place. Some of the key characteristics of experiential learning are described, underlining the specific process of knowledge creation in which experience represents the most important source of learning. The main emphasis is on the conditions in which such learning occurs and on the importance of a genuine relationship between facilitator and learner.
