Nowadays, there is a growing general opinion that the process of globalization has appeared as a logical outcome of the evolution of mankind and that, when it comes to world politics, it is its comprehensive and supreme form. There is almost no dilemma that powerful development of communication and information technology has decisevely influenced the reduction of the distances on the entire planet and in that way has enabled the events from one side of the world to have an impact or depend on events on the other side of the world. This paper will deal with the process of globalization and war. Globalization will be considered in terms of its influence on the expansion and possible connectivity of the various actors in international relations that may come into a state of armed conflict. War as a phenomenon has been taken as a meaning defined by Clausewitz trinity of politics, government and the people. Understanding the war as a pervasive phenomenon in human history is not an easy task. Generations of minds from different era have tried to explain the phenomenon and the nature of war. Over time, several different theories have been created, each in its own way, more or less successful, trying to explain the causes, nature and physiognomy of the war. This paper is based on the hypothesis that ''war has not changed its nature'', despite the impact of the globalization process. This hypothesis can be proved or disproved if one answers the question of how globalization affects international relations and what the true nature of war is.
