Abstract

The work describes an experimental class of arts in the third form of the elementary school. The conception is based on Arnheim's teaching. The aim was to arouse creative fantasies in pupils, to encourage them to find something new through the artistic media, to create a unity of observation and thought. The medium was carving - work with clay while listening to specially chosen music.
