Novi pristupi u proučavanju prevladavanja stresnih situacija

Sažetak

Za proučavanje stresa i prevladavanja stresnih situacija od izuzetne je važnosti vremenska dimenzija, tj. sled stresnog događaja i prevladavanja. U tradicionalnim gledištima, da bi nastupilo prevladavanje stresni događaj se morao javiti pre ili makar u trenutku javljanja prevladavanja. U ovom radu razmatrane su nove koncepcije u sagledavanju stresa i prevladavanja, preventivno i proaktivno prevladavanje. Prevladavanje može nastati i pre nego što se stresni događaj pojavio. Osoba može preduzeti niz koraka (preventivnih mera) koje će joj omogućiti da se lakše nosi sa budućim događajem koji bi mogao predstavljati pretnju, rizik ili gubitak - preventivno prevladavanje, ili može sebi postavljati ciljeve i ambicije kojima će težiti videvši u njima šansu za novi razvoj i napredak - proaktivno prevladavanje.
