Sažetak

Draker je pre više od 20 godina znanje nazvao 'osnovnim ekonomskim resursom'; zagovarao je da je ono (znanje) postalo jedini resurs konkurentske prednosti organizacija. Moglo bi se reći da je sposobnost organizacije da inicira i sprovodi aktivnosti i procese 'eksploatacije' postojećeg i kreiranja novih znanja među ključnim faktorima u kreiranju konkurentske prednosti organizacija. Težnja ka stvaranju i stvaranje jedinstvenog znanja bi svakako kompaniju diferenciralo u odnosu na druge, ali su prepoznavanje i tacitnog i eksplicitnog znanja, i uspostavljanje odgovarajuće organizacione infrastrukture jednako važni aspekti. Koncept menadžmenta znanja, prepoznat kao jedan od najvažnijih menadžment alata, u velikoj meri je rasprostranjen, iako nove tehnologije i promenljivo poslovno okruženje zahtevaju stalna prilagođavanja. U svakom slučaju, znanje se može smatrati vrednim i čak ključnim faktorom uspešnosti kompanija. Svrha ovog rada je da ispita vrednost menadžmenta znanja za kompanije i uticaj prakse menadžmenta znanja na konkurentnost kompanije.
