Sažetak

Rezultati dosadašnjih istraživanja o fizičkoj aktivnosti ukazuju na njen značaj za ukupni razvoj pojedinca tokom života, posebno u periodu adolescencije, ali i na tendenciju njenog opadanja u ovom razvojnom periodu. Cilj ovog istraživanja je utvrđivanje nivoa fizičke aktivnosti adolescenata u našoj sredini, posmatrano s obzirom na pol i uzrast. Uzorak je činilo 838 učenika, od kojih je 472 učenika osnovne škole, sedmog i osmog razreda, i 366 učenika srednje škole, prvog i trećeg razreda. Za procenu nivoa fizičke aktivnosti primenjen je Upitnik fizičke aktivnosti za adolescente (PAQ-A). Rezultati analize varijanse (ANOVA) su pokazali da postoje razlike u nivou fizičke aktivnosti između učenika osnovne i srednje škole u korist učenika osnovne škole (mlađi adolescentni uzrast). Takođe, utvrđeno je postojanje polnih razlika u nivou fizičke aktivnosti u obe uzrasne grupe u korist adolescenata muškog pola. Posmatrano prema pojedinim segmentima ukupne fizičke aktivnosti, najviši je nivo fizičke aktivnosti tokom časova fizičkog vaspitanja kod adolescenata oba pola, u osnovnoj i u srednjoj školi. Učenici, u odnosu na učenice, pokazuju viši nivo aktivnosti u većini segmenata ukupne fizičke aktivnosti na oba uzrasta. U programima za unapređenje fizičke aktivnosti adolescenata u kontekstu nastave fizičkog vaspitanja potrebno je posebno imati u vidu prelazni period od osnovne ka srednjoj školi, pol adolescenata i njihova interesovanja za određene sportove i oblike fizičke aktivnosti.
